He and his wife, Amy, served as missionaries in the Democratic Republic of Congo with Mission Aviation Fellowship after starting out as an Aircraft Mechanic (A&P/IA) in Elkhart, IN. After returning to the US, he earned his M.Div. at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and then his PhD in Biblical Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary.
After serving as a part-time pastor and professor, Ben took a job with Humana after COVID broke out.
He was the #2 sales agent in the state of IN for two years in a row and then joined Amy as a co-owner of Guidepost Insurance in 2023 after being laid off from Humana.
Ben is a Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, an active member of the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Kosciusko County Senior Activity Center, and the Living Well in Wabash Senior Center.
